Unfinished projects meant to inspire your vision for the property

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool will need a full refresh. It was originally planned as a 2023/24 project, but changing life circumstances prevented the owners from completing it. The pool was last opened in 2015, with the plumbing inspected in 2017, and has been consistently covered and winterized since then. Antifreeze levels in the pipes were checked in both 2017 and 2021.

The pool will need an acid wash, filtration system, tile repairs, and one electrical fixture replaced. While the concrete shell is extremely dirty, it remains in good condition.

The Yellow Brick Road

The Yellow Brick Road” is a 250-foot path carved through the property’s ridge line, creating a whimsical, gently rising passage that leads to the higher- elevation pasture and adds a touch of magic to the landscape.

It’s a magical little corridor in nature— Where light filters through the leaves by day, and at night, soft solar-powered string lights transform the path into a glowing, enchanted walkway.

The project was started in 2025.

Sunset Ridge Eco Farm

Welcome to Sunset Ridge @ 30766 N Gossell — a beautifully fenced-off pasture at the property that became the heart of an unexpected hobby-farming adventure. (Read full history here)

What began as a simple idea grew into a true passion, guiding the owners to thoughtfully plan and prioritize every step of the farm’s development.

Inspired by the charm of an old western town, plans were drafted for fencing, water-harvesting systems, solar power, and purpose-built livestock structures. The vision was long-term, intentional, and rooted in creating a self-sustaining, picturesque farmstead.

Today, that vision is already taking shape. Nearly 1,800 linear feet of perimeter fencing has been completed, defining the sweep of Sunset Ridge and setting the stage for the next chapter.

In 2023, the first structure—a brand-new pre-fab 12×10 shed—was added for the solar power station, marking the official start of the pasture’s transformation.

Sunset Ridge isn’t just a pasture. It’s the beginning of a dream in motion—one ready for the next owner to continue, expand, and make entirely their own.

Move the slider to see Before and After

When the current homeowners purchased the property in 2016, the home was in a distressed state. The front façade was approached in ‘phases’ as design plans evolved and changed throughout the years.

Phase 1 (Completed)

  • 2020: New Front door and sidelights with new front siding

  • 2022: New Architectural Shingle roof with 30 year warranty and 50 year storm rating

  • 2023: Techno-Block retaining wall and pavers with integrated lighting system

  • 2024: New exterior light fixtures and motion activated spot-lights

  • 2025: Front of house brick color change

The exterior didn’t need anything else after Phase 1, but the homeowners still felt inspired to refine the front of the house—adding thoughtful touches that simply made it feel even more inviting.

Phase 2 (not completed)

  • Remove all concrete in front and side of 3-car heated garage and replace with Techno-bloc large format ‘Sleek Pavers’ in greyed Nickel.

  • Paint entire house siding in Sherwin Willams Repose Grey, or replace entire siding. *Download  Contractor quote

  • Change garage door to glass doors for a modern sleek aesthetic.

Our story ends. Yours begins.

This home has been the most challenging property we’ve ever taken on—physically, financially, and emotionally. But it has also been the most rewarding. We bought this property not just for its potential, but for the freedom it offered—the chance to shape our own little world.

Every season brought a new lesson, a new test of patience, and a reminder that a place like this is never truly finished. You don’t “complete” a home like this; you grow with it.

There were times it felt overwhelming—the trees, the remodel, the frozen water buckets—but every moment spent here has been worth it. Watching sunsets from the ridge in the dead of winter, to seeing the land come alive in spring left us with a feeling of discovery.

If there’s any advice for whoever lives here next, it’s this: take your time. Don’t rush to perfect it. This home and land rewards patience and care. The joy isn’t in finishing—it’s in being part of its evolution.

A property like this becomes a reflection of the people who live here. It’s not just lumber and stone—it’s a living thing that holds your stories, your laughter, and your effort..

We poured our hearts into this place. And now, it’s ready for someone else to write the next chapter.

Respectfully,

The Current owners
